Welcome to WellChurches!

WellChurches serves the mission of promoting health outreach within churches.  Creating more positive health outcomes is a never-ending opportunity.  As much as modern medicine has progressed, it is still limited by the human component of taking care of the spirit, mind, and body that God has given us.  WellChurches is addressing this ongoing need by helping the health leadership within churches become more effective health promotion and outreach partners with healthcare experts.

The WellChurches Mission:

  1. FIND AND CREATE SERVICES THAT SUPPORT WELLNESS
  2. CREATE LASTING CHANGE
  3. MAKE YOUR CHURCH A CENTER OF FITNESS ACTIVITY
  4. IMMUNIZE AGAINST MISINFORMATION AND FRAUD
  5. START TODAY

People who attend church regularly are have lower mortality and less prevalence of most diseases and mental illness. This truth is backed by hundreds of scientific studies across many different areas of research. Health is a significant part of Christ's mission for us on Earth, as it was His own continuous mission, right up until His crucifixion. There is always more to do, more people to reach, more help to give. The mission of health is always ongoing. It is a race for which there is no finish line, and success is a reason for an even greater focus on health.

For many people of faith, there is a gap of belief between medicine and faith. Even with all the wonderous scientific advancements of medicine, it still requires for the patient to believe it can succeed. The survival rate for early stage breast cancer, treated by a qualified oncologist, is 99%. Without treatment, the survival rate for breast cancer is 13%. If the cancer is detected at stage two and then treated by a qualified oncologist, the survival rate is 85%. We live in an age where treatments of breast cancer are more effective than they have ever been. Even so, the patient must follow a physician-recommended check-up routine and must see their doctor to be diagnosed. Without the patient's belief in the medical system, their life may be at risk.

80% of death is due to a preventable disease. Every person we lose too early is a reminder to renew our efforts to reach others. One of the most deadly and preventable causes of death is inaction. Take action today, because there is someone whose life depends on it.
